How does the Trace wallet work? What's the warranty on the tracker card?

The Find My technology inside has a battery in a hidden tracker card. Depending on how much you use the tracking feature, the battery has a lifespan of 1.5/2 years. Don’t worry! If the tracker battery dies, please try to troubleshoot first. If that doesn't fix it, file a warranty claim so our warranty team can get you a replacement tracker card. If the tracker has any issues in the first 120 days, we’ll send you a replacement free-of-charge! If it is past 120 days since the original order was placed, the tracker card costs $10.

Here's a troubleshooting video to help remove and re-add your Trace wallet to your FindMy app on your iPhone - it will also show you how to reset your Smart wallet Trace if you're experieincing a low battery or issues connecting it. Please give this a shot before filing a warranty claim.

The Groove Smart Wallet Trace is not available for international orders or compatible with Android devices. The tracker card was exclusively designed to be inserted into the Groove Life Smart wallet Trace - It will not fit in our other wallets.
Note: as of August of 2024, we are no longer shipping the Trace internationally, which could be why you can not see it on the website, as your IP address most likely has it blocked.
